New York Giants "Every Game In History" Data Poster

from $35.00

What better way to show off your fandom of the New York Giants than this poster that showcases every game the team has ever played (updated through the end of the 2023 season)? Zoomed out this piece works as an almost abstract pixel-style design that can uniquely adorn your classiest of rooms, but up close it becomes a treasure trove of information, documenting every game in history along with the date, opponent and score. Sports art doesn’t have to be shoved into the basement, garage or mancave… It can be thought provoking and elegant, a centerpiece for a gathering place of your home. This high-quality print (available in 24x36 and 12x18 sizes) shows your undying love for the Giants while also bringing class to your living area.

There are rich histories, and then there are rich histories. The New York Football Giants fall into the latter, italicized category. Established in 1925, one of the very first franchises in the NFL, the Giants became one of the league’s first great franchises, reaching 15 championship games in the pre-Super Bowl era. The times would eventually change, and more teams would join the fold with the NFL/AFL Merger in 1970, and the Giants were suddenly a big fish in a bigger pond. In 1983 the team tagged their current defensive coordinator, Bill Parcells, to become their next head coach, and a new era of Giants football officially began. Parcells would instantly infuse his desired culture onto the team — Hit hard, and don’t make mistakes. Oh yea, and they brought in perhaps the greatest defensive player of all time into the fold when they drafted Lawrence Taylor out of UNC in 1981. The Giants would reach the playoffs in five of seven years from 1984-1990, ultimately winning two Super Bowls with perhaps the two greatest head coaches ever — Parcells, who led the team, and Bill Belichick, famously the DC of those rosters. The early aughts would see the Giants compete on the defensive side of the ball, but struggle to find consistency at the quarterback position. In 2005 they drafted Eli Manning, however, and the team finally had a game manager to go with their continued culture of defensive standouts. In 2007, Eli and the Giants upended the undefeated Patriots, in what is likely to this day the greatest upset in Super Bowl history. Four years later, they ran it back and won another title, again over the Pats. With eight total titles, the Giants are one of the most successful franchises in football history, and have a historical culture that is the envy of the league.
