Chicago Bears "Every Game In History" Data Poster
What better way to show off your fandom of the Chicago Bears than this poster that showcases every game the team has ever played (updated through the end of the 2023 season)? Zoomed out this piece works as an almost abstract pixel-style design that can uniquely adorn your classiest of rooms, but up close it becomes a treasure trove of information, documenting every game in history along with the date, opponent and score. Sports art doesn’t have to be shoved into the basement, garage or mancave… It can be thought provoking and elegant, a centerpiece for a gathering place of your home. This high-quality print (available in 24x36 and 12x18 sizes) shows your undying love for the Bears while also bringing class to your living area.
As one of the oldest NFL teams in history, the Chicago Bears have a rich and storied past built on championships, great players, and an unmistakable identity forged through tough defense throughout eras. Founded in 1920 in the old AFPA as the Decatur Staleys, the team took their now present name two seasons later, in 1922 upon joining the burgeoning National Football League. Though so much of that time period has been lost to history, the Bears eventually grew into a true dynastic team in the 30’s and 40’s, capturing six championships in 16 seasons on the back of a true legend of the coaching ranks, George Halas. Halas would lead three star QBs to titles in his unbelievable 47-year run — Keith Molesworth, Sid Luckman, and Billy Wade, but perhaps the best QB he coached in that span was one that never achieved a title — George Blanda. The 1980’s would see Da Bears re-emerge to relevancy, capturing five straight division titles in as many years, and winning the Super Bowl in 1985, with a team that is often listed as one of the small handful of greatest teams ever. The 2000’s would see the Bears bubble up time and again, though somehow always lacking that thing that brought them so many championships way back in the early days — A quarterback. The Bears show up to every season with more grit than anyone thinks a team should have, and despite their bad luck at the most important position in sports, the Monsters of the Midway will forever be an inspiration.
